Football Manager 26 is a football management sim where you run a club's tactics, transfers and finances instead of playing matches.
You take control of a team from any of dozens of licensed leagues, setting formations, training schedules and matchday instructions while your players carry them out on the pitch. Recruitment is central to the experience: scouting networks, wage negotiations and squad building all feed into long-term success across multiple seasons. FM26 introduces TransferRoom, a new in-game platform where clubs announce and negotiate deals directly, adding another layer to the transfer market.
The game moves to the Unity engine for this entry, bringing updated animations, ball physics and stadium lighting to matchday. It also introduces women's football for the first time, with 14 playable leagues from around the world alongside the men's game. The Premier League is fully licensed, with official club badges and player likenesses.
